These are one of my favourite cookies! They are easy to make. They look heavenly and they taste delicious!
Banana-Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
2/3 cup of granulated sugar
30g of butter
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
pinch of salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Line the baking tray with a parchment paper.
2. First, in a bowl mix together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, oats.
3. Then, in a separate large bowl mix mashed bananas, sugar, butter and vanilla. Add one egg and mix until smooth.
3. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients, then add chocolate chips, and stir until evenly combined.
4. Scoop out the dough by the tablespoonful and space the cookies 2 inches apart on a parchment paper.
5. Bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes until goldish. Don’t overbake.
